Here are some of the websites and blogs for designers of fabric and patterns stocked by modern retro textiles. Many of the photos shown of products, on this site, are from the designers sites themselves. I will continue adding other interesting sites as I stumble upon them:
Amy Butlers website: shows all her products and pictures of her patterns made up in different fabrics - great for ideas. Also wonderful free patterns for you to download. www.amybutlerdesign.com
Kokka fabrics, Nani Iro range: shows each years fabric collections and corresponding free pattern downloads made up in her fabrics. Everything is written in Japanese though! However the patterns are only one page each and appear very simple to make if you have a bit of an idea about sewing. Well worth a look.

The living creatively has some great free sewing patterns (as well as other projects). The one hour bag looks good (I'm not sure I could do it that fast!) - just click on projects, then sewing. www.livingcreatively.com.au/projects/
