The Far Far Away fabric range was designed by Heather Ross specifically for Kokka, Japan.
Heather’s says her fabric lines for Kokka are more about imaginary places, lush meadows and small towns built from toys by children, and evening dances held by squirrels. Her newest line for Kokka is no different, and is in fact named for those first few words that appear at the beginning of many an imaginary tale: Far Far Away.... Heather first focussed on the princesses, especially a certain princess and her pea, but soon began sketching unicorns, a frog prince, and florals.
This collection is double gauze cotton, which is much lighter than usual quilting fabric, but suitable for bags, clothes, quilting, tea towels and kimono's. The fabric breathes well in heat / humidity.
